Retirement date 5/3/08 - Selling my Cairns N5A New Yorker (circa 1983) This is an original FDNY (Prop sticker inside helmet) Leather Cairns Early 1980's New Yorker. I bought it in 02 and had it repainted Red - I wore it until Retirement - I was at a very slow station - This helmet paint looks good except for expected chips and bumps from service over the past 6 years. Large - Along with the helmet comes - Front Shield (if you really want it) - ESS Goggles W/Strap and New Strap - Bourke Shields - Cairns Carved Brass Eagle Front holder. It will need a new helmet liner - the old one just fell apart when I took it out to take the pictures - something you would expect, being over 25 years old - its just cloth .... Still this helmet has plenty of life left and it’s a True Collector item - Beginning its life at the FDNY for 20 years... I wore it with pride - Now time to pass it on to someone else. Since I can not post pictures here - I will send you what ever you want - I have taken many and sized for emails. Price is $275 + shipping.

Cairns G5A Presentation Helmet. Manufactured in 2001. Has Kevlar earflaps Gorilla-glued in and bronze shield holder installed. No holes drilled for bourkes or chinstrap. $300. Never in-service, rarely handled.

2 Helmets for sale.... Two year old Morning Pride Ben 2 Plus, "FDNY Spec" black shell with black earflap, in good shape only a few scratches but needs a chin strap. 1992 Sam Houston n6a, Black with carved eagle, Yellow earflap, New Gloflex tetrahedrons. About a inch of wore showing on the back brim, it is easily repairable. The plastic shell in the inside was removed to cut weight and make the helmet lighter.........for questions or pictures on either of these helmets email me.

Morning Pride Ben 2 Plus for sale. I recently purchased a new helmet and have no use for this one. It is about 3 years old and is "FDNY spec", black composite shell with black earflaps. Its been through a few fires but only has normal scratches from wear and tear. Many years of life left.

I have bought a 1977 Ford 8000 pump truck and have 400 ft of supply hose - Is there any adapters available anywhere to make a smaller hose attach to it and a nozzle to that hose? A reducer from the supply line to a hose small enough to take a nozzle. Thanks.

I have a 1952 American LaFrance engine that needs to be restored. I have all the historical documents with it, build sheet, title etc. It was refitted in 1983 it came from North Carolina. The pump has been removed, it has a Cummins diesel engine w/5spd tranny. The body is in good shape. The only problem is I don't have the time to mess with it and the storage is eating me up.
